Jonathan Blow talked about Flywrench in his "Nuances of Game Design" session at the Game Developers Conference yesterday. He also made a game of his own based on similar (but easier) mechanics called "Nicewrench". I'll link that when he uploads it. Here's Destructiod's coverage:

In other news, I'm working on porfolio-izing my main page, messhof.com. In games, Punishment 3 has been taking nearly all my time since I'm using it as my senior project for college. I'll probably have to finish Flywrench 2 now, though. Maybe I should call it Meanwrench.

I didn't end up going. I scored a free admission ticket, but I'd still have had to pay for the round trip NY/LA flight. I plan on entering next year though.
